Jaden is officially 3 months and 2 weeks old. He is our little entertainer, bringing joy and laughter to us everyday. He reached several milestones for his age by now. When lying on his back, he is able to hold his head straight and enjoys his usual karate kicks whenever we change his diapers for him. His kicks are pretty strong, and mum mentioned he can be a gd soccer player in future! Hahah... He loves to listen to us talking, singing or just humming some tunes to him. But there is one moment that he will wish to enjoy silence totally... that is his feeding time! We realised that he will throw temper by wailing or kicking with all his might in anger if we chit chat while feeding him. He will only be calm and continue his drinking after we stopped talking and "apologised" to him for the disturbance. Hahahah... It's been a couple of times that this had happened. We are still 'monitoring' him to see if our observation is true. Jaden also snuggles into our arms (either me or mum) for comfort and sense of security. Mum said this is so, cos he recognises our smell as we both carried him very often, so he will somehow feels more secured with us. He is more communicative with his body and facial expressions too. He will raise his eyebrows now and then. He giggles, smiles and frowns quite often too. We will hear him coo-ing away and makes lots of sounds in his play pen too. He's now able to follow the trails of sounds to find us and eventually manages to make eye contacts with us. When he was first brought back from the hospital, he does not like to see the fisher price cot mobile which we bought for him, despite the soothing classical music that it plays. Now he totally enjoys it and seems very excited to see it after we place him in his crib after shower. His hand-eye coordination is developing well too. He can now grip and hold his pacifier firmly in his hand, eyes without fail, will be looking at the pacifier too. There was once incident, that Jaden even tried to put the pacifier into his mouth by shaking his head, opening his mouth wide and holding the pacifier in his hand. That's so cute action coming from him, a 3 months old baby.
Indeed, babies grow so fast, and as parents we will want to witness each and every milestone that our child reach, not wanting to miss any of these important moments in their lives. So, I'm glad that we have our boy here, at least, right now I can place full concentration on him and be with him for the entire day.
