Today is my mum's birthday, she turning 56 this year. As usual, we had made plans for her birthday. Brought mum to cinema for a show starring Andy Lau (her idol) which she had been wanting to watch. It's been ages since mum catch show with us. Went Marina Sq to watch as we planned to eat Hot Pot Culture after the show. By the time our show ended, it was already half past 8. At Hot Pot, it's nice to try out their ala carte dishes,me and CY think that it's nicer than the hot pot itself. I ordered the usual herbal soup base, mum ordered tom yum and both CY and bro ordered chicken soup. While waiting for the ala carte dishes, I brought mum to take the steamboat ingredients. The guys enjoyed feasting on the prawns, their favourite dish. =) 
After the fulfilling meal at Hotpot, we headed home for cake cutting. Bought mum's favourite fruit cake at Lido. Mum wanted to blow out the candles straight after we sang the song, all of us stopped her, as she had not made her wish yet! Blur mummy! Like mum like daughter!
