Today me and hubby witnessed Jaden's first crawl. He managed to move in front instead of going backwards successfully after several attempts. And he sat up effortlessly without any support on his own, after his crawls. Although most of the time he's still doing his reverse parkings, we were so glad to be able to see him crawl. At almost 9 months (few more days to his 9th mth), he finally crawled. Yeah!! He also started kneeling in his crib too. Few days after we spotted him kneeling in the crib, Jaden managed to stand in his crib, hands holding on tightly to the sides of the crib. Jaden had been quite slow in his physical developments, reaching his milestones much later than his peers. As a 1st time mother, I was quite panicky and worried if it's kinda abnormal initially. But as time passes, and of course with some read-ups on parenting magazines, books, online searches etc, I realised it was so silly of me to worry over the late reached milestones. Every child is unique and developes at their own paces, so there's actually nothing much to worry abt. From then on, I told myself, as long as Jaden's appetite is gd, napping well, playing as usual, I can rest my mind. :) And ofc, avoid listening to other's words and comparisons too. Comments like, " Oh, how come so late have not start crawling... blah blah blah.... etc.
Now Jaden is eating well, taking his fish porridge and the number of times he rejected milk also decreased. As usual, he loves his puffs puffs and yogurt melts and he responded when I said the words too. His response ofc as expected is excited and can really tell his eyes beaming with joy when he heard the 2 words. So adorable!!!
